50% of Blue Galah's accommodation is 6 bed dormitory rooms or less.
We have a few 8 bed rooms and a single 10. Together, this allows us the flexibility to offer private rooms as singles, twins or small group dorms, as well as having smaller mixed dorms where we try to keep mixed rooms for couples only as much as possible. For group bookings, this allows a larger range of options to ensure that groups have NO additional guests, in rooms specifically booked for groups.

- Family double + bunk room includes a double bed and 2 bunk beds. Maximum 4 people per family room.
- Persons under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian and can only be accommodated in private rooms.
Discounted rates apply in a range of circumstances and are discounted down from our standard dormitory peak season rates of $32 per person per night ($26 for international country passport holders), and from $65 to $80 for private rooms.
Discounts can apply for international passport holders, weekly stays, student stays, card holders of purchased memberships to YHA, Peter-pan Adventures, VIP, Nomads etc etc, or from advertised vouchers which in those cases we must be advised before the booking is made.
Special deals are often offered which include travel and accommodation packages which may even provide lower rates at that time. Check out our special deal pages or match up the requirements for offers in the application form below.
Group Bookings are always costed individually and are dependent on a wide range of factors. To assist this Blue Galah often helps with arrangements at no extra cost...... for example, group airport transfers including luggage is an area that we frequently help organise but take no commissions for, preferring that Groups pay the operators direct, and so pocket the savings themselves.
